Aleksander Zalaznik: Ambition, profit and optimism
These are the three words Aleksander Zalaznik, President of the Managers' Association of Slovenia and Director General of Danfoss Trata, swears by. He said at the introductory meeting with new members that: "Profit used to be a blasphemous word, but the fact is that profit is fuel for the development of companies." Company development is precisely the main task for managers: "Finding ways to be as efficient, innovative and productive as possible."
