Irena Brugger and Judita Rigler Receive the 2025 Artemis Award (Artemida)
With the Artemis Award, the Female Managers' Section of the Managers' Association of Slovenia (Združenje Manager) recognizes leading female managers and rewards their role in creating added value within the company or organization they lead.
The Young Manager of 2025 is Aleš Ugovšek
As a new-generation leader, Aleš combines strategic vision, humanity, and responsibility. After years of managing projects, development, and strategy, he took over the leadership of the nearly 300-member group and steered M Sora towards a deliberate evolution—optimizing processes, digitalization, strengthening marketing, fostering greater innovation, and setting a clear vision for 2028.
Tone Strnad Receives the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award in Management
The Managers' Association of Slovenia is awarding the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award in Management to Tone Strnad, the founder and long-time director of Medis, and the current director of Medis Group and President of the Board of Directors at Medis. He will receive the award at the January Gathering.
January Gathering 2026 Award Recepients
At the January Gathering of the Managers' Association of Slovenia at the Grand Hotel Union, we awarded the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award in Management. It was presented to Tone Strnad, founder and long-time director of Medis. The 2025 Young Manager is Dr. Aleš Ugovšek, General Manager of the M Sora Group. The 2025 Artemida Awards went to Irena Brugger, General Manager of Davidov hram, and Judita Rigler, Director of Lab Interior, part of the Mikro+Polo group.
